Five new playbooks where the agent does the legwork and you keep the final call, plus one thing that happened in AI agents.
Five playbooks
01 · ChatGPT Agent
Triage an on-call page with a dot and leave the resolution to me
Let an always-on dot take the first look at a page while you stay in bed.
Why it matters. It watches your on-call channel, triages the page and opens a thread you can steer from your phone, but it never declares the incident resolved, sends extra pages or touches production.
02 · Codex CLI
First-pass a credit agreement and leave the investment call to me
Get a first-pass memo on a long credit agreement against the clause list you already trust.
Why it matters. Codex CLI works only from your checklist and quotes the agreement so you can check every excerpt against the PDF, while the investment call and any talk with counsel stay with you.
03 · Claude Code
Run Claude Code Review on a new pull request
Every new pull request gets an automatic Claude Code review once an admin switches it on.
Why it matters. You pick Quick, Standard or Deep per repository and check each finding against the diff, and a person still decides what merges.
04 · Claude Code
Email a task to Claude Code on the computer at my desk
Email a coding task to your own +agents address and Claude Code runs it on your desk computer.
Why it matters. The runner replies in the same thread with Queued, Started and the result, reads only mail you sent yourself, and never pushes code.
05 · Grok Bot
List newsletters worth unsubscribing and leave the click to me
A list of the newsletters you've stopped reading, with the unsubscribe link for each.
Why it matters. The mailbox stays read-only, every row points to a link you can see in the original email, and you do the clicking.
One thing that happened
Anchor launched Action Index, which lets web agents replay workflows that already worked as plain code, and says a small model using it matched a frontier model's 93% success rate on 300 benchmark tasks at about a hundredth of the cost.
